Chorus OriginsThirty-one years ago the idea of the West Coast Mennonite Men's Chorus was visualized by Eldon Franz. With this dream in mind he brought together a group of men who became the first Board in 1977. They developed a format for the chorus to be formed. The chorus is composed of men from Mennonite, Mennonite Brethren, Brethren in Christ, and other churches. The chorus is a group of about 180 lay volunteers who get together in early spring, practice a maximum of ten times and then give their annual concerts. |
